Having Gordon Ramsey's name attached, it will not disappoint. Cleanliness, check! Prompt service, check! Presentation and taste, check!

With a modest variety to choose from, but a great variety none-the-less, this restaurant’s major focus seems to be on two areas—giving you a great burger/sandwich, and giving you great choices to compliment it. Be sure to try their signature ketchups.


Besides burgers, BurGR offers a choice of 2 dawgs (hot dogs), and a fish sandwich.  Fries, salads, appetizer-type snacks, sides, and dessert choices. There are meat-free options available for vegetarians and vegans. Push-pops, and pudding shakes make for unique, delicious desserts. A full-service bar is sure to make a good impression.


All items are a la carte, averaging around $14 per burger/sandwich.

You should expect to spend about $35 - $45 per person.

Urban Turban


Tucked away in a strip mall on Paradise Road, this Indian restaurant has put its spin on some of India’s most popular dishes.  Located at 3900 Paradise Road in Las Vegas, a few minutes from the strip, it is a standout kind of a restaurant, none the less.

The color scheme, organization, relaxed atmosphere, and cleanliness make for a great impression. While many restaurants place their restaurant grade from the Health Department at the entrance, their Nevada Health District A-Grade is easily visible in the dining room.

Executive Chef Tarun Kapoor is an award-winning, delightful young man with a passion for people and Indian cuisine. Whether tasting his wonderful creations or attending his cooking classes, it is evident that Mr. Kapoor is very knowledgeable, personable and accomplished.



 
Of the variety of dishes on the menu, the house favorite seems to be the Butter Chicken Royal which is absolutely delicious! Although you will most liked be pleased with any item on the menu, recommended items are Chicken Tikka, Palak Paneer Chicken, Lamb Seekh, Lentil soup. Or, simply let your taste buds do the choosing. The menu has a wide variety of choices and you can rest assured that you’re in the hands of a great chef. First time visitors or those not familiar with Indian cuisine may benefit greatly from the lunch buffet. It is available seven days a week.

Parking on the lot in front after 7pm weeknights may be somewhat challenging.  If so, you may want to phone the restaurant for parking suggestions.

Carson Kitchen

Ready, set…………let’s have some FUN!

Located at 124 S. 6th Street in downtown Las Vegas, surrounded by the Fremont Experience, Container Park, a variety of bars, hotels, casinos, and other restaurants, the quaint and popular Carson Kitchen is a stand-out!

With less lighting than your typical restaurant and majority bar-height tables, Carson Kitchen has an adult atmosphere. 

Specializing in small plates, the menu includes items easily considered as appetizers, entrées, sides and desserts. Items such as salads, meat, fish, vegetables, sandwiches, flatbreads, desserts and a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, you are sure to satisfy your tastebuds, stomach, and quinche your thirst. Many dishes are made with a twist, such as the gyro tacos, black rice & oxtail risotto, the green eggs and ham flatbread, or their glazed donut bread pudding. Be sure to try their ever-popular bacon jam.

The menu changes from time to time but you will be hard pressed to find a dish that is not impressive.  The presentation is great, the food is delicious and cooked to perfection.

Bartender Chris is truly the icing on Carson Kitchen’s cake. A man of great character and skill, sitting at the bar to be in his presence it a treat within itself. You will feel like you’re sitting with a friend and personal mixologist.


Pricing is moderate to slightly high. Attire is casual, dress casual.

Valley Thai


The Valley Thai, located at 1725 E. Warm Springs Road in Las Vegas is a palate’s delight.


Located in a “strip mall” about 10 minutes from McCarran airport, it is newly owned and operated by sisters Belle and Phatcharin. The restaurant gives you a feeling of warmth as you enter through the door.  It is very clean and inviting with a friendly staff—always aiming to please.  Expect your food in a timely manner.


Panang curry with chicken, a personal favorite, is always a flavorful and simply delicious!  The appetizers, and entrĂ©es are always well presented and the flavors are consistent, from visit to visit. Don’t forget to top off your meal with a tall glass of Thai iced tea—yummy!


Overall pricing is reasonable, and the weekday lunch specials are great if you want an even bigger bang for your buck!


I highly recommend you stop in and order up.  These young ladies have really succeeded in creating a great dining experience from hello to good-bye.
