The mission of Left of Center is to
make the arts accessible to all segments of our population, with a focus on
diversity, by providing a welcoming gallery environment with the opportunities
for interactions with artists as well as opportunities to personally experience
the creative process.
Left
of Center Art Gallery works to share the many ways in which the art influences
and enrich our lives. Left of Center strives to inspire, educate and engage all
visitors, as well as develop and enhance their understanding of African and
African-American art.
Located at the gate D21 of
the McCarran Airport, you will find a (8 foot tall, 150 feet wide) mural
of the southern Nevada landscape, created by featured artist
Harold Bradford.
While at the gallery, stop by and meet Vicki
Richardson, President & Founder of the Left of Center Art Gallery. She is
truly a joy to talk to and a wealth of knowledge.
